This policy explains how personal data is handled through asiamannequin.com and related enquiries, purchases, rentals and payments. The website presents Asia Mannequin Pte. Ltd., UEN 201417261G. Your accepted quotation or invoice identifies the business supplying your order, which may be Asia Mannequin Pte. Ltd. or Asia Mannequin Display (S). These are separate businesses. The seller named on your order is responsible for its order records and fulfilment. We use a shared contact route to direct privacy requests to the business responsible for the records concerned.
What we collect
When you enquire, request a quote, book an appointment or place an order, we collect the details you provide. These may include your name, company, email, telephone number, billing or delivery address, items and quantities, rental dates, venue access details and messages. Forms may also record the page from which your enquiry was sent.
For payments and refunds, we handle invoice references, amounts, payment status, transaction references and information needed to identify the payer or refund recipient. Card details entered through our Stripe payment form are processed through Stripe. Please do not send full card numbers, security codes or account passwords by email or enquiry form.
If you create an account, we keep account and order information needed to provide access and manage your transactions. If you choose Sign in with Google, Google supplies the account information needed for that sign-in, such as your name, email and account identifier.
The website and its service providers also receive technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device information, pages visited, referring websites, timestamps and cookie identifiers. Our WooCommerce account and order flows include referral and campaign attribution information.
How we use information
We use information to answer enquiries, prepare quotations, confirm availability, manage accounts, arrange deliveries and collections, process payments and refunds, inspect rental returns, resolve complaints and keep business records. We also use technical information to secure the website, prevent spam and fraud, diagnose faults, measure visits and understand how customers reach and use the site.
We use consent where required, and may otherwise collect, use or disclose information where Singapore law permits it. Providing information for an enquiry or order allows us to use it for that request and the related arrangements. Marketing messages requiring consent must have a separate appropriate basis; making an enquiry is not a blanket agreement to unrelated marketing. You can ask us to stop marketing messages or use an unsubscribe option where supplied.
Cookies and third-party services
The website uses cookies and similar technologies for sign-in, sessions, shopping and quote functions, security, statistics and attribution. Our services include WordPress/WooCommerce and Gravity Forms for website and form functions; Stripe for card payments; Google for analytics, sign-in and spam-protection features; Automattic/Jetpack for statistics, security and website services; Cloudflare for traffic delivery, security and performance measurement; and email services including Yahoo and Elastic Email for correspondence and delivery of website messages. The provider involved depends on the feature you use. Payment providers may also handle information for their own fraud prevention and legal purposes under their policies.
Sharing and overseas processing
People handling your enquiry or order receive information needed for their work. We may share necessary information with the seller named on your quotation or invoice, delivery and collection providers, payment providers, website and email service providers, and professional advisers. We may disclose information where required by law or needed to establish or defend a legal claim. We do not use this policy to authorise unrelated sharing between the two Asia Mannequin businesses.
Some providers process information outside Singapore. Where we arrange an overseas transfer, we will take the steps required by the Personal Data Protection Act to provide a standard of protection comparable to that required in Singapore. Third-party websites, Google Maps links and WhatsApp conversations are also subject to those providers’ privacy practices.
Retention and protection
We retain enquiry, account, order, payment and correspondence records for as long as needed for their business or legal purposes, including fulfilment, accounting, disputes and recordkeeping. There is no single fixed retention period for every record, and the current store does not apply a universal automatic order-deletion schedule. When information is no longer needed for a business or legal purpose, we will dispose of it or remove its association with identifiable individuals.
We will use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and limit access to people who need it for their work. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Contact us promptly if you suspect misuse of your account or information.
Your choices and requests
You may request access to your personal data and information about how it has been used or disclosed, ask us to correct an error, or withdraw consent to a use that depends on consent. Requests are subject to applicable legal conditions and exceptions. We may need to verify your identity and clarify the records requested. Withdrawal may affect our ability to complete an enquiry or provide a service; we will explain the likely consequences. We may still retain or use records where a legal or other permitted basis applies.
